If your agency runs on LeadConnector, you already know where contacts, pipelines and conversations live. Where the actual work lives is usually less clear. Tasks end up in spreadsheets, chat threads, sticky notes and a separate project tool nobody keeps up to date.

That gap is why we built Task Master, a project manager for LeadConnector. It gives your team one place to assign, track and finish work, connected to the same contacts you already manage.

Why a LeadConnector team needs its own project manager

LeadConnector is excellent at the customer side of the business: leads, follow-up, appointments and campaigns. Internal delivery is a different job. Someone has to build the workflow, fix the form, update the funnel, and answer the client. When that work is tracked in a tool that does not know your contacts or your team roles, things slip.

A project manager built for LeadConnector fixes three common problems:

  • Work is disconnected from the client. Tasks should sit next to the contact or account they belong to.
  • Nobody sees the whole board. Managers need to see what is To Do, In Progress and Done without asking around.
  • Time disappears. If you bill by the hour or just want to know where the week went, time tracking has to live on the task itself.

What Task Master does

  • Kanban boards with drag-and-drop columns, priorities, assignees and filters.
  • Task lists that are searchable, with due dates, @mention comments and time tracking on every task.
  • Notifications when tasks are assigned, updated or completed.
  • Team roles for admins, managers and clients, so each person sees the right work.
  • LeadConnector integration with OAuth install, token management and contact sync built in.
  • AI agent access through a remote MCP server, so Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT can create and move tasks and start and stop timers.

How setup works

Setup takes three steps. Enter your LeadConnector Location ID, authorize with OAuth (one admin per workspace completes this), then sync your contacts and invite your team. Watch the full walkthrough here:

What access does it need?

Connecting any app to your CRM should raise a question about data access. We made a short video explaining exactly what Task Master can see and why:
