ARCHIVED PROJECT — LEGACY MESSAGING PLATFORM · 2021

This was a fully-developed mobile application and admin panel, completed in 2021 for a confidential client. Every deliverable — cross-platform iOS and Android apps, a web-based admin panel, Stripe subscription management, and a multi-media message vault — was built and tested. Publication was halted when client funding did not extend to App Store submission. This page is maintained as a portfolio record of the build.

CASE STUDY — ARCHIVED 2021

A digital legacy platform,
built complete.

THE PROJECT

Built for a confidential client.

Client details are withheld by agreement. The platform was commissioned by a private individual with a vision for structured digital legacy — a way for people to compose, schedule, and vault personal messages for delivery during key life moments or after passing. The build required a complete product from scratch: cross-platform mobile apps, an administrative backend, subscription payment processing, and a structured media vault.

THE CHALLENGE

Multi-platform. Executor logic. Full admin.

The build required cross-platform mobile apps from a single Flutter codebase, a web-based admin panel with role-based access control, social authentication via four providers, a Stripe subscription engine with tiered storage limits, FFmpeg video compression, and an executor-triggered delivery system — where designated individuals verify and release messages on behalf of the account owner. Each layer needed to integrate as one system.

SCOPE OF WORK

Four modules. One unified platform.

01 — MESSAGING VAULT

Message creation & multi-media vault

Users compose text, photo, and video messages tied to specific life moments. Messages are stored in a personal vault, categorized, archived, and scheduled for future delivery or executor-triggered release.

02 — KEY MOMENTS ENGINE

Executor-triggered delivery system

The core feature. Designated executors — trusted individuals assigned by the account owner — verify and release messages upon death or a key life event. Delivery can also be scheduled in advance or triggered automatically upon account verification.

03 — ADMIN CONTROL PANEL

Full CRUD web admin with RBAC

Web-based admin panel with role-based access control. Covers user management, subscription package configuration (tiers, storage allocations, media upload limits), message moderation, push notifications, enum management, and onboarding tutorial video uploads.

04 — COMMUNITY & ONBOARDING

Social auth, activity feed & tutorials

Social sign-in via Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Activity feed for sharing approved inspirational content. Community encouragement system between users. Tutorial video library served at first sign-in to guide new account setup.
